Park-Wise Animal Hospital has been serving Schaumburg and the surrounding
community for over 30 years. Our veterinarians and staff focus on treating your pet
as an individual whether we are developing an annual wellness schedule with vaccines
or treating a major illness. There is no "one-size fits all" veterinary care here. By getting
to know both you and your pet we learn what our pet's specific needs are.

NEWS!
Katie and I are very excited to inform everyone that we now offer Cold Laser Therapy available to help pets that have chronic and/or acute pain. "Cold" Lasers do not cut tissue, they invisibly penetrate deep into tissue to stimulate healing, decrease inflammation, pain, and edema. We made the decision to incorporate this therapy into our practice to offer an alternative or compliment to the pharmaceuticals used to alleviate pain. While the pharmaceuticals can be expensive, have adverse effects, and require periodic blood monitoring-the laser can be both more affordable and safer by reducing or even eliminating a pet's need for the daily medications. We are excited to bring a new, safe option to help our patients with pain. Contact us for more information.
We also wanted to remind everybody that a year ago we advanced our surgical capablities by incorporating a surgical laser in the practice. This "hot" laser replaces the scalpel blade. It reduces bleeding, pain, inflammation, and recovery time. Amazing for declaws, spays and neuters. In addition, it has broadened our surgical capabilities, allowing us to perform stenotic nare and soft palate surgeries on the "smushed" face breeds such as pugs, bulldogs, and boston terriers. These surgeries greatly improve a pet's quality of life by opening up their airways. Here is a link to some great videos demonstrating our capabilities: www.youtube.com/user/CuttingEdgeLasers
Thank you for all your trust in our care. We don't take it lightly and are always trying to impove our ability to help your four-legged family members.

The stork brought her to us in a cardboard box one
morning and she's gotten quite comfy so she's
going to stay. Stop by and say Hi.
